At Robot Death Monkey we take accessibility very seriously, not just for our own website but for all the websites we create. We test our sites in a plethora of browsers to ensure they're viewable to everyone. We don't use Flash or JavaScript for anything but the most superficial content.

To ensure compliance all our work is validated to the XHTML 1.1 standard. Internet Explorer users may wonder why our pages have the HTML 4 DOCTYPE, this is because IE doesn't support XHTML 1.1 when delivered with the correct MIME Type, so a little PHP is used to deliver the correct DOCTYPE to each browser. In addition to validating our code we have now begun to run our work through Bobby, an excellent tool for checking if your work complies to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and the U.S. Section 508 Guidelines.
